I've only just begun speaking with a designer. I'll let you know how it goes as things progress. I'll probably end up paying him what *I* was paid for my first professional web design and programming... It'll be not a *small* portion of monthly income generated by the site, but not a huge portion either. I guess that means about half. It's real money, but hopefully it will be well spent if it makes the site more appealing to view, easier to navigate, and provide the right... "ambiance."
